In May 2021 we had a great charity trip to the Sunflower Orphanage in Nha Trang. We had contacted the caretakers ahead of time and wrote down everything they were in need of. Our team did all the shopping at local markets in Nha Trang, loaded up a van, and drove to the orphanage. As always, the children were excellent helpers and carried everything into the main common room.
On this visit, we brought boxes of instant pho, bottles of soy sauce, seasonings, plastic chairs, hangers, markers, diapers, dish soap, and floor soap.
As a nice treat for the children, we prepared sweet drinks to accompany their lunch. A fun visit with the children!

ABOUT THE SUNFLOWER ORPHANAGE
The Sunflower Orphanage first began taking in orphans in 1993 and is located in the heart of Nha Trang. There are large facilities and separate locations for middle school and high school students. Sunflower currently cares for about 35 orphans aged 10 to 18, plus several toddlers. The orphanage has a history of taking in street children and youths from troubled homes and coordinates its efforts with the Dai An Orphanage.
