In August 2022 our team made a fun visit to the Thien Tam Orphanage. After speaking to the caretakers, we put together lots of supplies and foodstuff, loaded up a van, and made the drive out to the orphanage. When our team arrived, the children were practicing their English lessons in the courtyard. We had brought sweet strawberry tea drinks for all the children, so everyone gathered together at the tables to enjoy the treat.
Next, the children helped carry all the supplies inside. This included bags of rice, boxes of instant noodles, seasonings, cooking oil, soy sauce, milk, yogurt, noodles, sauces, meats, and fresh vegetables.

ABOUT THE THIEN TAM ORPHANAGE
Founded in 2004, the Thien Tam Orphanage lies 20 minutes south of Nha Trang’s city center, in Phuoc Dong ward. The orphanage is run by Nguyen Dinh Chi and his wife Nguyen Thi Kim Lien. A former orphan himself, Chi set up the orphanage in his home as a place of love and sanctuary for orphans in the community. They currently care for 13 young children.
