In July 2023 our team had a fun visit with the children at the Dai An Orphanage. After speaking to the caretakers, we took down a detailed shopping list of items to bring the orphanage this month. On the day of the visit, our team did all the shopping at local markets, loaded up a van, and drove out to the orphanage.
When we arrived, some of the children were studying their extra lessons. There is a new baby at the orphanage, and our team was very happy to say hello.
On this visit, we brought bags of rice, eggs, quail eggs, pork, ground pork, fish pies, meat pies, shrimp, milk, baby formula, noodles, sugar, salt, garlic, onions, and laundry detergent.
We sliced up watermelons for a cool snack on a hot day. Afterwards, the children had a little barbeque in the gardens. It was a lovely time!

ABOUT THE DAI AN ORPHANAGE
The Dai An Orphanage is located in Cam Ranh district, south of Nha Trang, and cares for approximately 30 young children. It was founded by the same church that runs the Sunflower Orphanage in Nha Trang. Dai An is in a tranquil countryside locale and has a large facility for the children to grow and play. The caretakers provide a nurturing and loving home for these amazing children. There are also classrooms in the orphanage to provide the children with extra tutoring after school.
