In June 2023 our team of volunteers had a fun visit with the children at the Dai An Orphanage. We coordinated with the orphanage caretakers and brought lots of food and supplies for the month. These included bags of rice, canned meats, meat pies, squid, fish, sausages, pork, chicken, eggs, siracha, soy sauce, fresh vegetables, dish soap, and a toy scooter.
When our team arrived, the children gathered together next to the gardens. Our team leader Mai Khanh taught the children some fun games to play, then handed out snacks. Finally, the children took turns playing on the toy scooter. It was a lovely time with the children!

ABOUT THE DAI AN ORPHANAGE
The Dai An Orphanage is located in Cam Ranh district, south of Nha Trang, and cares for approximately 30 young children. It was founded by the same church that runs the Sunflower Orphanage in Nha Trang. Dai An is in a tranquil countryside locale and has a large facility for the children to grow and play. The caretakers provide a nurturing and loving home for these amazing children. There are also classrooms in the orphanage to provide the children with extra tutoring after school.
