In early February 2021 we visited the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Tet in Vietnam is the biggest holiday of the year, and we wanted the wonderful children at Hy Vong to enjoy the holiday traditions. We also wanted to ensure the children’s families had essential foodstuff, as prices on basic items skyrocket during this time.

We coordinated with the caretakers and brought gift bags for all the children to take home to their families. When we arrived, the children were excellent helpers and carried everything to the main steps. The children gathered and our team handed out balloons and yummy frozen treats for everyone. The gift packages included sweet banh Tet cakes, a box of noodles, seasonings, drinks, and traditional sweets and treats. It was a very fun visit!

This wonderful gift was made possible through the kindness of a family in the USA. Thank you!!!
