In mid-June 2020, we had a lovely visit to the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children and brought essential supplies for the Home and some fun gifts for the little ones to celebrate Children’s Day.
We had coordinated with the nuns at the Home and made a detailed list of items they were currently in need of. We brought cans of condensed milk, packages of noodles, packages of fresh milk, seasonings, bottles of shampoo, insect spray, laundry detergent, a new flashlight, a new electric kettle, and cleaning products.
As a nice surprise for the children, each child got a gift bag with an assortment of toys, backpacks, hats, and snacks. Our volunteers then brought out some yummy cakes for everyone to enjoy. It was a lovely visit with the children!

ABOUT THE HY VONG HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN
Located in the Suoi Cat district to the west of Nha Trang, the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children offers a home and school for children with neurological disorders and disabilities whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. The nuns and caretakers teach the children in classrooms on the grounds, and it is a loving and caring environment for a group of amazing children.
