In January 2021 we had a great visit with the children at the Dai An Orphanage. We had spoken to the caretakers at the orphanage and learned of their most pressing needs. We bought everything at local markets and organized a visit.

When we arrived, the children helped carry all the provisions to the outdoor courtyard next to the orphanage’s gardens. On this trip, we brought a box of dried squid, packages of mung beans, condensed milk, boxes of instant noodles, bags of sweet rice, seasonings, and cleaning products.

Our team then brought out a yummy surprise: frozen fruit snacks for everyone! It was a very fun visit!

This charity trip was made possible through the kind donations of Sharon Kelly, Stephen Milne, and Scott Huynh. Thank you!!!

ABOUT THE DAI AN ORPHANAGE

The Dai An Orphanage is located in Cam Ranh district, south of Nha Trang, and cares for approximately 30 young children. It was founded by the same church that runs the Sunflower Orphanage in Nha Trang. Dai An is in a tranquil countryside locale and has a large facility for the children to grow and play. The caretakers provide a nurturing and loving home for these amazing children. There are also classrooms in the orphanage to provide the children with extra tutoring after school.
