In August 2022 we had a lovely visit with the children at the Sunflower Orphanage. We had reached out to the orphanage caretakers to learn what they required this month. Our team wrote everything down and did lots of shopping at local markets in Nha Trang. We had food and general supplies delivered to the orphanage and came out to visit.

The children stacked everything in the main common room. We brought racks of eggs, sausages, butter, siracha, mayonnaise, seaweed, macaroni noodles, toothpaste, napkins, tissues, shampoo, brooms, mosquito spray, towels, shoes, belts, scissors, and an ice cooler.

As a fun surprise, we also brought all the ingredients for a barbeque. The children made shish kabobs and set up grills in the courtyard. Then we all gathered around for a tasty feast. So fun!

This wonderful visit with the children was made possible through the donations from Olivia T, Vanessa Nguyen, Alysha Sims, Fred Sims, Koshu Takatsuji, Daniel Cole, Minh Nguyen, Colleen Bond, and Steven Burger. Thank you!!!
