In November 2021 we had a lovely visit at the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children. Due to COVID travel restrictions, the home had been closed for several months, and has only recently reopened. Our team of volunteers were so excited to be able to see the children once again. We spoke with the caretakers and made a detailed list of items they were in need of, then loaded up a van and drove out to the home.

When we arrived, our team unloaded all the food and supplies and brought it into the main common room. On this visit, we brought bags of rice, varieties of instant noodles, sugar, fish sauce, seasonings, mung beans, bird nest drink, milk, bamboo shoots, brooms, toiletries, and dish soap.

The children gathered in the common room and our team handed out yummy snacks for everyone to enjoy. We also brought general foodstuff for children’s families to take home. It was a lovely visit!

This wonderful gift was made possible through the kindness of a family in the USA. Thank you!!!
