On June 20, 2017 we visited the lovely Song Lo Orphanage. Song Lo is a small orphanage in the countryside to the west of Nha Trang. We contacted the nuns who run the orphanage about their needs, and our team organized a trip. We brought yogurt, milk, juice, cans of sardines, bags of mushrooms, soy packages, bags of seasonings, dried food, snacks, and toiletries. After spending time with the orphans, our volunteers got a tour of the farm and fruit orchard behind the orphanage, where the nuns and orphans picked vegetables, spices, mangoes, and bananas.
