In March 2026, we embarked on a meaningful new mission: sponsoring life-changing cataract surgeries for the elderly in Vietnam’s Can Tho province. While this southwestern region is vibrant and diverse, the cost of essential eye care remains out of reach for many of its senior residents.
This initiative was sparked by the compassion of Carolyn Chau-Kha, whose dedication to this cause has paved the way for a long-term commitment. Moving forward, Carolyn will be supporting a small group of individuals each month, ensuring they receive the gift of sight.
Working alongside a local volunteer team, we identified 11 deserving individuals in urgent need of the procedure. The joy and relief they expressed upon learning their surgeries were sponsored was truly moving.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Carolyn for her incredible generosity and for bringing clarity and hope back into the lives of these 11 elders.
