We had a wonderful visit to the Thua Sai Home for Disabled Children in October 2025, delivering a supply of food and general provisions for the month.
Our team worked closely with the caretakers to confirm their needs, purchasing all items from local markets before filling a van for the trip.
This month’s delivery included staples and essentials like:
- Food: Bags of rice, chili sauce, chicken, milk, boxes of ramen, and fish sauce.
- Supplies: Laundry detergent and school supplies.
- Activity: Badminton sets and arts and crafts.
We stacked all the items neatly in the common room. As the children gathered, our team of volunteers handed out snack bags to each child. Some of the children took the badminton sets out to the courtyard and played. Towards the end of our visit, the caretakers showed us some of the meditation exercises the children do. It was a truly lovely and rewarding day!
This valuable project was made possible by the kind donations from Steven Burger. Thank you for your generous support!
ABOUT THE THUA SAI HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN
Located in a peaceful country setting in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang, Thua Sai offers a home and school for children with neurological disorders whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. The nuns and caretakers teach the children in classrooms on the grounds, and it is a loving home to these wonderful children.
