In September 2022 our team had a very fun visit with the children at Hy Vong. We had reached out to the nuns and said that we wanted to sponsor all of the education costs for the upcoming school year. The nuns were so happy! On this visit, we also brought general supplies for the month.
For the children’s education, we brought textbooks, school supplies, backpacks, and helmets. General supplies included bags of rice, packages of instant noodles, cooking oil, milk, seasonings, sweet rice, and eggs.
We handed out balloons and snacks, and our team of volunteers had a lovely time hanging out with the children. This wonderful gift was made possible through the kindness of a family in the USA. Thank you!!!
ABOUT THE HY VONG HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN
Located in the Suoi Cat district to the west of Nha Trang, the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children offers a home and school for children with neurological disorders and disabilities whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. The nuns and caretakers teach the children in classrooms on the grounds, and it is a loving and caring environment for a group of amazing children.
