On May 24, 2012 Khanh and the Vien Giac charity went to Phan Rang to help a poor community.

The Vien Giac charity is authorized Vietnamese charity composed of local business leaders, centered at the Vien Giac Pagoda west of Nha Trang. Vien Giac regularly assists poor communities in Dien Dong, west of Nha Trang, and Phan Rang, in the province south of Nha Trang.

On this trip, 14 members boarded buses and left Nha Trang in the early hours before dawn. They drove through the peaceful countryside as farmers were beginning their day, and arrived at their destination at breakfast time. The group had donated funds to provide gifts of basic foodstuff to 200 poor families in Phan Rang. Overseen by the People’s Committee, it was a very orderly distribution on a sunny morning at the Vien Ngo Pagoda in Phan Rang.

Primary donors were the family of Mr. Nguyen Du, Ms. Dieu Lien, and Lovingkindness Vietnam. Thanks to everyone for making this a special day!
