On August 28, 2017 we brought brand new sandals to all the children of the Loc Tho Charity School. Loc Tho has a wonderful mission where they provide free primary schooling to neighborhood youngsters whose parents cannot afford the many costs of sending their children to public school. The nuns at Loc Tho provide school uniforms, textbooks, and school supplies to all students, and they attend classes with accredited teachers. Loc Tho also houses a group of orphans, and provides free breakfast and lunch to the school children.
With the new school year approaching, we have been helping Loc Tho prepare. On this visit, we brought new sandals for all the children. The nuns led the children out to the courtyard, and our team of volunteers helped the children find the right sizes. The children were so excited to have new shoes!
