In September 2024 we had a great holiday visit at the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children. It is the time of the Mid-Autumn Festival in Vietnam, which has lots of fun traditions for children. We wanted to make the occasion special for everyone at Hy Vong, so arranged lots of surprises.
When we arrived, we handed out toy lanterns to all the children. The children walked around the courtyard with their lanterns with big smiles. Next, we prepared bubble tea drinks for everyone!
For our regular month visit, we brought lots of food for the children’s meals. This included bags of rice, racks of eggs, seasonings, penne noodles, chips, boxes of ramen, canned fish, white noodles, rice crackers, and milk. It was a lovely day!
This charity trip was made possible through the kind donations from a family in the USA and an anonymous donor. Thank you!!!
