In August 2024 we delivered food and other supplies to the Phu Quang Orphanage. Every month we check in with the nuns at the orphanage to see what they need, then work with local markets to have it all delivered directly to their doorstep. For August, the nuns provided us with a detailed list of items.
For this month, we brought bags of rice, boxes of noodles, packages of milk, bottles of soy sauce, varieties of mushrooms, dish soap, drinks, soy milk, and varieties of instant noodles.
The nuns sent us lots of cute pictures of the children helping carry all the supplies into the orphanage.

ABOUT THE PHU QUANG ORPHANAGE
The Phu Quang Orphanage was founded by Sister Thich Nu Dieu An at the Phu Quang pagoda in the early 2000’s. For many years, the orphanage has been a loving home to a group of orphans and a foster home to neighborhood children whose families struggle to support and provide for them. Phu Quang cares for just under 15 children in a loving environment. Sister Thich Nu Dieu An passed away in 2023, and the orphanage is run by the nuns of the Phu Quang pagoda.
