In June 2024 we had lots of food and other supplies delivered to the Phu Quang Orphanage. We had asked the nuns at Phu Quang which items they needed for the month. They provided a detailed list, and we arranged for local markets to bring everything directly to them.
This month’s provisions included bags of rice, boxes of ramen, milk, seasonings, cooking oil, rice crackers, juice boxes, standing fans, and a new white board. The nuns sent us lots of fun pictures of the children helping bring all the supplies into the orphanage.

ABOUT THE PHU QUANG ORPHANAGE
The Phu Quang Orphanage was founded by Sister Thich Nu Dieu An at the Phu Quang pagoda in the early 2000’s. For many years, the orphanage has been a loving home to a group of orphans and a foster home to neighborhood children whose families struggle to support and provide for them. Phu Quang cares for just under 15 children in a loving environment. Sister Thich Nu Dieu An passed away in 2023, and the orphanage is run by the nuns of the Phu Quang pagoda.
