In April 2022 we brought some special gifts to the Sunflower Orphanage, then had an ice cream party with the children. We had gotten in touch with the caretakers, and they had a few special requests. They asked for new sleeping mats, rice cookers, and fans.
Our team bought everything and drove to the orphanage in downtown Nha Trang. Many of the children were outside playing badminton when our team arrived, and they stopped their games to help carry everything inside. Once all the orphans were gathered around, we brought out ice cream and cones for everyone. The chocolate syrup was a big hit!
Afterwards, many went back outside to resume their badminton games. It was a terrific visit!

ABOUT THE SUNFLOWER ORPHANAGE
The Sunflower Orphanage first began taking in orphans in 1993 and is located in the heart of Nha Trang. There are large facilities and separate locations for middle school and high school students. Sunflower currently cares for about 35 orphans aged 10 to 18. The orphanage has a history of taking in street children and youths from troubled homes and coordinates its efforts with the Dai An Orphanage.
