On January 30, 2019 we had a fun visit to the Sunflower Orphanage in Nha Trang. Sunflower is a lovely home to a large group of teenage orphans, located in the heart of Nha Trang. There are also several toddlers. We coordinated with the orphanage’s caretakers about their most pressing needs, and organized a visit with lots of essential supplies.
Our team brought bags of rice, bags of bean varieties, seasonings, packages of meats, laundry detergent, shampoos, and soaps. We were also happy to present the orphanage with a new gas stove for the children’s meals. Many of the children had just gotten home from school, and everyone helped carry in the supplies. The children laughed and joked with our volunteers, and it was a lovely visit. These children are amazing!
This charity trip was made possible through the kindhearted donations of Scott Huynh and the Lovingkindness Vietnam general fund.
Thank you!!!
