In mid-February 2020 we had a fun charity trip to the Sunflower Orphanage. We had spoken to the orphanage’s caretakers and learned of their most pressing needs. We made a detailed list of items to buy and our team purchased everything at local markets. We then loaded up a van and brought many essential supplies to the orphanage.
The children are always big helpers, and we staked everything in the main common room. On this visit, we brought racks of eggs, milk, sticky rice, bottles of soy sauce, chili sauce, and cooking oil, peanuts, rice paper, seasonings, dish soap, and toiletries.
The children gathered together, and our team handed out snacks to everyone. We also brought a sweet drink with fruit, and the children worked with our volunteers putting it all together in the kitchen. Delicious!
This charity trip was made possible through the kind donations of Scott Huynh and Michael Nguyen. Thank you !!!
