In February 2025 we brought food and general supplies to the Thien Tam Orphanage. We coordinated with the orphanage caretakers and made of detailed list of items they needed this month. Next, our team of volunteers loaded up a van and made the drive out to the orphanage.
When we arrived, the children helped stack everything in the main courtyard. For general supplies, we brought bags of rice, boxes of ramen, sugar, fresh vegetables, seasonings, milk, fish, meat, cooking oil, oyster sauce, milk, yogurt, eggs, seaweed, shampoo, insect spray, dish soap, and cleaning products.
For treat, we prepared a variety of fresh fruit for the children to enjoy. So yummy on a hot day!

ABOUT THE THIEN TAM ORPHANAGE
Founded in 2004, the Thien Tam Orphanage lies 20 minutes south of Nha Trang’s city center, in Phuoc Dong ward. The orphanage is run by Nguyen Dinh Chi and his wife Nguyen Thi Kim Lien. A former orphan himself, Chi set up the orphanage in his home as a place of love and sanctuary for orphans in the community. They currently care for a small group of adolescents and one baby.
