In mid-December 2019 we had dual parties at the Thien Tam Orphanage. Five of the children had recent birthdays, and we brought cakes and presents for the birthday children. It was a fun party and everyone got slices of cake!
We’re making Christmas visits to many of the causes that we support, and had a fun Christmas party with the children. One of our volunteers dressed as Santa Claus and handed out presents to all the children. The children had asked for their own Santa outfits, and put on a fun performance of singing and dancing. Even our Santa joined in!
Next, the children had a big lunch and then got to open their presents. What joy!

ABOUT THE THIEN TAM ORPHANAGE
Founded in 2004, the Thien Tam Orphanage lies 20 minutes south of Nha Trang’s city center, in Phuoc Dong ward. The orphanage is run by Nguyen Dinh Chi and his wife Nguyen Thi Kim Lien. A former orphan himself, Chi set up the orphanage in his home as a place of love and sanctuary for orphans in the community. They currently care for 13 young children.
