In February 2026, our team had the privilege of ringing in the Lunar New Year with the wonderful children at the Dai An Orphanage. As Tet is the most significant celebration in Vietnam, our mission was simple: bring the warmth and festive spirit of the holiday to the kids.

Working closely with the orphanage caretakers, our volunteers coordinated a special delivery that combined essential care with holiday surprises. Upon our arrival, the children eagerly jumped in to help us unload and stack the supplies by the gardens.

For our monthly supplies, we brought bags of rice, fresh meats, toothpaste, toothbrushes, household cleaning brushes, milk, vegetable oil, and fresh vegetables.

For Tet, we delivered many Banh Tet sticky rice cakes, lots of traditional Tet sweets, and red envelopes of Li Xi lucky month. We also brought out cakes for all to share. The children were so happy!

This fun visit was made possible through the kindness of our incredible donors: Sharon Kelly, Stephen Milne, Scott Huynh, and Steven Burger. Thank you for helping us make this Tet unforgettable for the children at Dai An.
