The Ngoc Van Orphanage recently welcomed our team back for a visit focused on refreshing their essential supplies and upgrading their daily utility. After consulting with the staff about their most pressing needs, we were able to provide a comprehensive delivery of baby formula, fresh and flavored milk, sausages, and a variety of snacks for the children.
The highlight of this trip was the unpacking of a brand-new washing machine, a practical addition that will significantly assist the caretakers in managing the facility’s high volume of laundry. The children eagerly joined our volunteers to help unload the supplies, turning the arrival of the boxes into a shared activity in the common room.
To wrap up the afternoon, the team served boba tea to the entire group, making for a joyful celebration. This visit was funded entirely by our donor community: Long Nguyen, Koshu Takatsuji, Kateryna Lo, Daniel Cole, and the Kinghurst Foundation. Thank you for your continued support of these children.
ABOUT THE NGOC VAN ORPHANAGE
Located in the northern part of Khanh Hoa province, the Ngoc Van Orphanage was founded in 2020 after a big storm hit central Vietnam. There were many deaths from the storm, and several orphans were brought to the Ngoc Van Pagoda to be cared for by the monks there. Since then, the orphanage has grown and now cares for about 20 small children.
