On June 23, 2019 we visited the Song Lo Orphanage with essential supplies. Song Lo is a small orphanage that provides a loving home to a group of young children, including a new baby left at the orphanage. Located in the countryside to the south of Nha Trang, there is a garden with fruit trees, and our team always enjoys visiting these lovely children.
We contacted the nuns at Song Lo to learn their immediate needs and organized a visit. We brought packages of yogurt, seasonings, seeds and nuts, sticky rice, packages of seasoned tofu varieties, bottles of chili sauce, noodles, baby diapers, and toiletries.
The children helped carry everything inside and were rewarded with ice cream popsicles. A happy treat on a hot day!
