On July 1, 2018 we visited the Lac Thien Orphanage with lots of essential supplies. Lac Thien is a loving home to a large group of orphans of all ages, located in a small hamlet in Ninh Hoa to the north of Nha Trang. The orphanage is dependent on donations for survival, and we contacted the nuns to learn their immediate needs. They gave us a detailed list, and our volunteers loaded up a van and made the drive north.
On this visit we brought bags of rice, boxes of noodles, boxes of dried squid, boxes of eggs, seasonings, kitchen supplies, soaps and shampoos, bathroom and cleaning products, toys, and school backpacks. The children gathered in the common room and our team handed out snacks to make it a festive occasion. It was a very fun visit!
This charity visit was made possible through the kind donations of Huu Son, Stacey Nguyen, and Dan, Van, and Devin Haynes.
Thank you!!!
