In September 2025, we continued our monthly commitment to the children of the Song Lo Orphanage by delivering a van full of essential food and supplies. Working closely with the orphanage caretakers, our team made sure to purchase everything on their most urgent needs list. The children were wonderfully enthusiastic, helping us unload the provisions and organize them in the common room!

The delivery included a wide range of necessities:

  • Food: A variety of essentials like vegan meats, sausages, fish sauce, various mushrooms, cooking oil, peanuts, sugar, flour, chili sauce, and an assortment of beans.
  • Household Supplies: Toiletries, tiger balm, Kleenex, trash bags, soap, dish soap, and laundry detergent.

Our September visit coincided with the Mid-Autumn Festival in Vietnam, a special and joyful holiday for children. To mark the occasion, we made sure to bring the party! We handed out fun lanterns for the children to carry, along with lots of traditional foods and treats. Judging by all the smiles, it was a huge success!

This trip, like all our work, was only possible thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors: Elaine Nguyen, Roger Puckett, and Ronald Schierer. A heartfelt thank you for your continued kindness and support—you made this special day possible.
