This December, the spirit of the season brought us to the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children. After coordinating with the dedicated caretakers to identify their most pressing needs, our team set out to make the holidays truly special.
We spent the morning at local markets, filling a van to the brim with essential supplies. Thanks to our generous supporters, we were able to deliver a massive haul including staples like rice, pork, and eggs, as well as pantry favorites like ramen, sausages, crackers, and sriracha. We also ensured the home was well-stocked with milk, cooking oils, and hygiene essentials like shampoo and detergent.
The highlight of the day was the holiday party. The children looked absolutely radiant in their festive Santa outfits as we gathered in the courtyard for photos. The afternoon was filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of cake and juice. It was a beautiful reminder of the power of community, made possible entirely by the kind donations from Steven Burger and a family in the USA. Thank you for this joyous day!
