In February 2023 we had a great visit with the children at the Thien An Charity Home. We worked with the caretakers and planned to bring food and general supplies for the school. Our team did all the shopping at local markets, loaded up a van, and drove north to the Home.
When we arrived, the children helped carry everything into the main common room. On this visit, we brought milk, water, sausages, white noodles, ramen, condensed milk, yogurt drink, sugar, soy sauce, eggs, cleaning products, garbage bags, and school supplies including paper, markers, and a new white board.
As a fun surprise, we handed out yummy cup cakes for all the children. So many happy faces!

ABOUT THE THIEN AN CHARITY HOME AND SCHOOL
This loving place is located in the hilly countryside of Khanh Hoa province. There are very few schools in this region and illiteracy among children is high. The local Thien An Catholic Church sought to help the children complete their schooling, so started the Thien An Charity Home and School. The children have housing accommodations and receive their meals in a communal dining hall. Classrooms have been set up so the children can all receive the education they richly deserve.
