In November 2023 we brought lots of food and general supplies to the Ngoc Van Orphanage and had a lovely visit with the children there. We had coordinated with the caretakers at the orphanage and arranged to bring food for the month. Our team or volunteers organized the trip and made the drive out to see the children.

When we arrived, we brought everything into the common room and the children came out to greet our team. On this visit, we brought varieties of flavored milk, baby formula, boxes of ramen, packages of porridge, and yogurt.

As a treat for the children, our team handed out flavored yogurt drinks to all the little ones. It was a fun day!

This charity trip was made possible through the kind donations from Alan White, Alysha Sims, Songloc Dao, Koshu Takatsuji, Daniel Cole, Tri Phung, Jef O’Riley, and Michael Nguyen. Thank you!!!

ABOUT THE NGOC VAN ORPHANAGE

Located in the northern part of Khanh Hoa province, the Ngoc Van Orphanage was founded in 2020 after a big storm hit central Vietnam. There were many deaths from the storm, and several orphans were brought to the Ngoc Van Pagoda to be cared for the monks there. Since then, the orphanage has grown and now cares for about 20 small children.
