In August 2024 we had a fun visit to the Thua Sai Home for Disabled Children. We had reached out to the caretakers and asked what items we could bring on our monthly visit. They provided us with a detailed shopping list, and our team bought everything at local markets. Next, they loaded up a van and made the drive into Cam Ranh to see the children.
On this visit, we brought bags of rice, varieties of milk, cooking oil, seasonings, dish soap, toilet paper, clothes, diapers, a white board, and lots of school supplies.
The children came out to greet our team and gathered together in the main common room. As a fun treat, our team passed out popsicles for everyone to enjoy. Our volunteers watched the children play games in the courtyard, then stayed for lunch. It was a lovely day!

ABOUT THE THUA SAI HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN
Located in a peaceful country setting in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang, Thua Sai offers a home and school for children with neurological disorders whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. The nuns and caretakers teach the children in classrooms on the grounds, and it is a loving home to these wonderful children.
