In February 2024 we had a wonderful visit with the children at Thua Sai. After contacting the caretakers, we learned which food and general supplies the home needed this month. Our team of volunteers in Nha Trang organized the trip and bought everything on the caretakers’ shopping list. They loaded up a van and made the drive into Cam Ranh.
The children were in the classrooms when our team arrived, and took a break to help bring all the provisions into the common room. On this charity trip, we brought sweet rice, mung beans, milk, spring rolls, shrimp, pork, penne noodles, yogurt, classroom whiteboards, school supplies, and snacks.
As a fun treat, our team prepared ice cream with chocolate sauce for all to enjoy. The children had fun topping off their cones with the chocolate. It was a lovely day!

ABOUT THE THUA SAI HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN
Located in a peaceful country setting in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang, Thua Sai offers a home and school for children with neurological disorders whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. The nuns and caretakers teach the children in classrooms on the grounds, and it is a loving home to these wonderful children.
