On February 22, 2017 we visited the wonderful Thua Sai Home for Disabled Children in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang. Thua Sai is a loving home for children who suffer from neurological and mental disorders, and also cares for several deaf children. These children all come from poor families who cannot afford specialized care. Parents bring their children to Thua Sai, where they receive compassionate care and education during the week from the loving nuns at the center.

When we reached out to the nuns about their immediate needs, they gave us a detailed list. Our lead coordinator, Mai Khanh, put a large project in motion, and with other volunteers, brought a bounty of supplies. We brought bags of rice, bags of sticky rice, bags of beans, laundry soap, bags of seasonings, tooth brushes and toothpaste, new fans, new lanterns, and snacks for the children. The children were very happy to see Mai Khanh and the familiar faces of our other volunteers, and made an effort to help carry in all of the gifts and supplies. It was a very fun visit!

This charity trip was made possible through the kindhearted donations of the McDuffie family of the USA.

Thank you!!!
