On April 7, 2017 we visited the Thien Tam Orphanage with lots of essential supplies and foodstuff. Thien Tam is a small orphanage that cares for 13 young children to the south of Nha Trang. These wonderful children are given a loving home, and are supported through the donations of others. When we contacted the caregivers about their most pressing needs, they provided us with a wish-list of supplies. Our team of volunteers did all of the shopping, and loaded up a van to make a visit to the orphanage.
On this visit, we brought bags of rice, boxes of noodles, dried seafood, eggs, soy and fish sauce, seasonings, and bathroom supplies. The children all gathered in the front of their schoolroom, and our volunteers handed out snack bags for each child. This trip was made possible through the kindhearted donations of Dane Sawmiller, Thao Dinh, Daniel Cole, Bao An Nguyen, Suruchi Khemka, Tiendat Tran, and Tuan Thanh Nguyen.
