On April 15, 2017 we completed construction of 4 new bathrooms and a washing room at the Kim Son Charity School. Kim Son provides free primary schooling to neighborhood children whose parents cannot afford the costs of public school. These costs include textbooks, uniforms, school supplies, and school fees. Accredited teachers work at the primary school, and Kim Son also runs a non-profit vocational school that teaches young adults the sewing trade. The nuns had told us that their existing bathrooms were run down and unfit for the children’s use. We put together a project plan, and made a contribution to construction of the new bathrooms. This project was funded through the Lovingkindness Vietnam general fund. Our thanks to the donors!
