Orphans at the Mai Am Nhan Ai Orphanage, south of Nha Trang

At one and a half  hours distance from Nha Trang, this peaceful orphanage in the countryside receives fewer visitors than most of our other causes. Founded in 1996 by Sister Nguyen Thi Bao Quyen, it resides behind the Giao Xu Phu Nhon Catholic Church. They house approximately 90 orphans in this wonderfully tranquil home. Donations will go to the purchasing of food for the orphans, general upkeep of the orphanage, and periodic expenses.

To donate to this cause, click the Donate button at the bottom of this page. After you've gone through the donation process, be sure to send us an email at ahren@lovingkindnessvietnam.org to indicate your desire to help out the Mai Am Nhan Ai Orphanage.

Driving Directions:

The easiest route is to take Tran Phu south, and follow the signs to Diamond Bay Resort. After crossing the Binh Tan Bridge, veer right, and stay on the main road. You'll pass the Diamond Bay Resort and Wonderpark and after topping a lovely cape you'll see the endless stretch of white sand on Cam Ranh's peninsula, with a cluster of tin roofed cafés at Bai Dai Beach. Stay on the main road all the way past the Cam Ranh Airport. The road narrows and eventually leads you to the large Long Ho Bridge. Carry on over the bridge and you'll link up with Highway 1A. Turn left towards Cam Ranh town. As you enter the modern downtown area, turn right at the sign for "Duong Tinh Lo 9" which is highway 9. It's exactly 6 km from when you turn onto Highway 9 to the orphanage. Keep an eye out for a big blue sign reading "Long Van Hon Thong Nhat" over a left turn. This will take you to Phu Nhon Church, and around back the Mai Am Nhan Ai Orphanage.
